Blades of Glory

So yesterday the wifey and I changed up the pace by checking out a movie…on a weeknight. Yeah I know we’re rebels. But we decided to check out Blades of Glory which was definitely a preview that my wifey and I saw while we went another movie a while ago. Speaking of previews they are by far the best part of the movie going experience. I could sit and watch 93 minutes of straight movie previews and I’d be perfectly happy. The Spider-Man 3 preview keeps getting better and better. I didn’t think it was going to have cohesive storyline and first and thought it was going to go the way of the Batman movies during the 90s. But looking at the previews I’m gonna have to say I’m a little off…

But back to the feature presentation: Blades of Glory was a pretty funny movie. I mean it was no Anchorman or Talladega Nights, but I don’t think you should be expecting that when you see the movie. There were some def funny parts. Jon Heder is frickin hilarious. It makes me go back and want to watch School for Scoundrels for the first time. I might just do that. All in all Blades of Glory is figure skating…in all its comedic homoerotic humor.

In other movie trailer news: Universal and SpyGlass Entertainment are about to release a sequel/spin-off to Bruce Almighty, entitled Evan Almighty. In case you forgot the plot to Bruce Almighty here’s a link from imdb. Soo…Evan Braxter is now going to have conversations with God…I’m a little skeptical. I’ll wait till the Summer 2007 release before I pass judgement. Here’s the YouTube link.
