1 Day of Exercise Knowledge
I’ve worked out for 1 day before today. Last thursday was my last day of working out before today. Not because of laziness, but for the simple fact that I couldn’t walk let alone run. I was as sore as I had been since my days of high school lacrosse. It was at that point I realized:
- I was getting old as I realize that was years…years ago
- The importance of stretching
I didn’t realize how important stretching was until I couldnt walk for a few days. Soreness kind of puts a perspective on you…
But today is a new day and this is a new week…so I was back in the gym. I did a quick 15 minute stint on the eliptical machine…which is one of the weirdest machines. I’m not exactly sure if I was doing it correctly…but I worked up a sweat and I felt accomplished. So I’m going to say it was a positive.
But as I was running I could feel the cold hard stare from the treadmill I injured myself on. The treadmill was taunting me…as I hobbled on to the eliptical machine…but no matter. One day I will be back on the treadmill to reclaim my domiance over that rubber track.
Until then I’m staying my black as$ on the eliptical machine and the bike…here’s the Daily for Aug 20th.

- Since this is the season for back to school shopping I figure I might as well throw a link or two into the Daily to help get those kids something for school. Today, a bulletproof backpack. You never know what that weird kid in the corner is thinking…so you might as well protect yourself. - 10 Everyday Uses for Lemons
