Music for Monday

I took a personal day today…I just had to for several reasons:

  1. I was beginning to get sick and I had to stop that immediately.
  2. I had to recoup from the Black Friday sales weekend.
  3. I had to study for the first part of my final (yes that’s right I said final…)
  4. Had to clean out my car

…yeah I know that last one doesn’t sound like much. But if you saw my car…you’d understand. There’s a line between messy and disgusting…my car crossed that line into disgusting a couple of trips to the drive through again.

But at least I had time to listen to a few albums and bring you some Music for a Monday:

I was excited when I saw this song. Because it didn’t just say Big Boi or Andre 3000…no it said Outkast. And with both those dudes on a track you know it’s fire. The lyrical content is crazy in this.

Always been a fan of the Clipse…ever since I first heard Lord Willin’. This just builds upon that impressive and underrated discography. This seems like the Clipse/Pharrell version of Roc Boys…done with that Neptunes flare.



I know I know…its not even December yet. But to me nothing says the holiday season like rappers making Christmas songs. In the spirit of Run DMC, Ludacris makes his own Christmas jingle and the beat is hot. Listen to it and tell me it doesn’t get you in the holiday mood.

Well I guess three songs for a Monday isn’t bad. I really feel like I have another song that I was going to bring to you…but I just can’t put my finger on it. I guess if I remember it’ll just be music for Tuesday.
