Feeling Whimsical? For the cost of two Starbucks drinks, you can help support a young artist. As much as mail is awesome, it is also expensive. Factor in operational expenses like art supplies, printer supplies, paper supplies etc.…and the margin for profit is, well, nonexistent. But sending mail is not about that. It’s about creating something real and tangible and beautiful that will stay in people’s hands and be passed from person to person. It’s a curated experience, from the delight of finding something in your mailbox to the pleasure of delving into its contents.
When I first ordered business cards, Canva sent me some strange postcards of a person calling themselves a saint of whimsy, and I joked on social media that I needed a Patron Saint of Whimsy (Instagram, June 8).
